Contest Period
The “Giveaway” Contest starts on May 17 2019, 10:00AM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) and ends on May 19, 2019 4:00PM (MDT). By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by and be bound by these official rules. Entrants further agree to abide by and be bound by all decisions of Shopville which shall be final and binding, without right of appeal, in all matters relating to this Contest and the awarding of the prizes, including without limitation eligibility and/or disqualification of entries.
Eligibility
The Contest is open to all attendees of Otafest 2019 who make a purchase(s) of $50 CAD or greater before taxes.
How to Enter
To obtain 1 entry, an entrant must make a purchase of $50 CAD or greater before taxes. The entrant will be given 1 entry ballot for every $50 increment before taxes spent. The entrant must legibly print their first and last name & verified email address.
Prizes
There is 1 prize bundle (the “Giveaway”) available to be won, consisting of:
1x Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum'n'Fun! (Collector's Edition)(UK)
1x Super Smash Brothers: Young Link Amiibo
1x Disney Elsa Nendoroid
1x Shantae Half Genie Hero: Risky Beats (Wii U)
1x Yomawari: Midnight Shadows Limited Edition (PS Vita)
Approximate retail value of the Prize is $400CAD. The Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be substituted, transferred or redeemed for cash or otherwise. Shopville will not replace any damaged, lost, or stolen prizes once they have been shipped to the winner.
How to Win
On May 19, 2019 at Otafest 2019, Calgary Telus Convention Centre, Calgary, AB T2G 0P3 at 4:00PM MDT, a random draw will be conducted from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period for the purpose of selecting a Prize winner. Odds of being selected depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
Prize Claim Conditions
In order to claim the prize bundle, the selected entrant (tentative winner) must:
1.) Respond to notification of selection and provide Shopville with the selected entrants shipping address within 2 business days of first attempt by Shopville.
2.) Correctly answer, unassisted, a time-limited skill-testing question by email or on the back of their entry ballot.
3.) Sign and return to Shopville, within 2 business days of it being sent, a written declaration and release form, releasing Shopville from any liability in connection with this contest or the use, misuse, awarding or possession of any prize that otherwise complies with these official rules.
In the event that Shopville cannot reach the selected entrant by email (including - but not limited to - the entrant failing to provide a valid email address), failure of the selected entrant to respond to notification within 2 business days of first attempt by Shopville, failure to provide release documents; other required documentation in a timely manner, failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or other non-compliance with these official rules may result in disqualification & forfeiture of the prize.
At Shopville’s sole discretion, the selection of an alternate eligible entrant for the forfeited Prize, in accordance with these official rules, will be chosen.
Right to Terminate
Shopville reserves the right to terminate this Contest, at any time and without notice or obligation if, the contest is not capable of running as planned for any reason, any factor or event which arises that could interfere with the proper conduct, administration, or impartiality of the Contest as contemplated by these Official Rules. Shopville reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of the contest, or violates the official rules. The contest is void where prohibited by law.
Protection Of Personal Information
Unless otherwise authorized by the entrant, any personal information provided by the entrant when they enter the contest will be used solely by Shopville for the purposes of administering the contest and prize fulfillment. When entering the contest however, the entrant may give their express, opt-in consent to receive electronic messages from Shopville.
By claiming a Prize, the winner authorizes the use of their name and/or photograph, place of residence, and statement regarding the Prize, without further compensation in any publicity and advertising purposes carried out by Shopville in perpetuity and in any media.
A correct answer to 1 of the skill-testing questions below is required to claim the prize. Choose 1 from the following:
